Jamming With Honker (Solos: Guest Soloist Paul Williamson - Trumpet, Tim Nikolsky - Bass)
Written during my time in Boston, at a 5-week summer program at Berklee College of Music. I had seen a performance of a piece with a similar half time funk groove, and immediately wanted to write a piece with that feel. The idea of a bass solo in a big band chart (performed here by Tim Nikolsky) was also inspired from my time at Berklee. The title is inspired by fellow student I met there who had one of the biggest noses I had ever seen in my entire life.
